Yep, you read that right. Pick an awesome name for my van, and you get $15 deposited directly into your Paypal account!

You may have seen my other journal on this topic... or you might have missed it. Either way, this is my van:
upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… www.usaraud.ee/ajuvant/pontiac…

I know lots of people think it's ugly (for some reason that I can't understand), but I think it's the coolest thing to ever roll out of Detroit! It happens to be my dream car, and I wouldn't trade it for either of my other dream cars (a 1982 Pontiac TransAm modified to be like KITT from the old "Knight Rider," or a DeLorean outfitted with all the "Back to the Future" time machine gear). But I really need a name for it! And no matter what I come up with personally, even if it's something awesome, I will always hate it because it was a word I came up with. That's just how my brain works...

So, I need your help, and I'm willing to pay you for it! I'm looking for a cool, space-y name that suits my van, which already looks like something that belongs in outer space. The name doesn't even have to be a real word - just something space-y. Think of what you'd name a Star Wars ship, if that helps. Something that's easy to say, and sounds cool. A name where people hear it, and immediately think "Oh wow, that's really exotic and space-y." I know I keep saying "space-y," but I'm not sure I can emphasize it enough!

Whoever comes up with the name I like most, receives $15. Simple as that! :D

It's a Pontiac! You gotta stay with the family names! And I would also like to restate my previous suggestion, The Rauncho Poncho.

Yeah, but "Rauncho Poncho" doesn't sound space-y at all, and I totally want a name that suits the very futuristic and avant-garde styling of my van! :)

True, that's too obvious a reference. And "Gateship" wouldn't quite work either, because that's more of an adjective than a name, almost.

you could call it, um...

-Dave, Master of the Universe.
or
-The Ko'Dan Armada (although perhaps just calling it Xur would be better if you wanted to go for a "The Last Starfighter" reference)

if it were me, I'd want to give it a name that can easily, and humorously, attach to the end of a statement. like calling it "...In Accordance with the Prophecy"

Huzzah!! The Last Starfighter doesn't get nearly the recognition it deserves. :(

Well, if they're long, that's okay, as long as maybe it's a single word, or something... either way, keep the suggestions coming! :)

The first one is a reference to a non-canon film, so that wouldn't work (although it's a clever play on words, and certainly got a chuckle outta me, lol).

Hmm, got anything shorter? I'm thinking something that has two words, like "Millennium Falcon."

Also, it's great to hear from ya! :D

As for decals, that's one of the reasons I need a name - I want to finally decal the name on it, already! :XD:

I'm not even quite sure how to pronounce the first one... :XD: "Marauder of Galileo" is more like a statement than a name, although I guess some ships have names like that (like "Pillar of Autumn"). Thanks for the suggestions - if ya got any more, lemme know! :D
